Island Dog was founded to help both the animals in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. We currently only rescue animals in Puerto Rico. We help the US Virgin Islands by supplying food and medications. We also work to create awareness of the overpopulation problems on the islands. Our goal is to prevent unwanted births of both dogs and cats. And to create animal friendly communities, free of abuse and neglect.
