We urge you to address the disturbing, horrific state of animal welfare on your island. Please help by taking the much needed leadership to find a humane solution to the island's animal overpopulation and cruelty issues. Puerto Rico has the potential to be a premier tourist destination. Tourists do NOT desire to vacation on an island where the practice of beating and poisoning animals is rampant because there are no shelters or control agencies.
Honorable Fortuno, you have the power to create positive changes in animal welfare, the environment, and education in Puerto Rico. Please use your power and guidance to make your island a better place for all of humanity.
