Who we are: Island Dog, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building animal friendly communities in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, Vieques and Culebra.
We are an animal welfare organization focused on raising public awareness concerning the sufferings and cruelty animals endure in our own United States Caribbean Islands.

Our Mission:
To provide children with "Kind News," a humane education program encouraging kindness to animals,
respect for natural habitats, good citizenship, and peaceful conflict resolution.
Feed and medicate homeless dogs living on beaches throughout Puerto Rico.
Offer clinics providing fee or low cost spay/neuter services.
Provide rescue and rehabilitation services for abused and adoptable animals.
Advocate shelter adoptions and work to eliminate puppy mills.
Promote responsible pet ownership.
